Angel is one of the busiest areas in North London and has a ton of things to see and do. Film fanatics are spoiled for choice, with the famous Screen on the Green cinema showing the latest films in walking distance of Islington Green. On top of that, Balham is also home to some of the best green spaces to take a walk in London with a host of great parks tucked behind the sleepy suburb houses.

Whether you’re in Beaconsfield for the day or a slightly longer stay, there are loads of things to do on your own or as a family. Blackheath is almost a hidden treasure, with its rolling green landscapes and historic castles seldom seen in other areas around London. One described as “up and coming”, it’s fair to say Brixton has now established itself as one of the best places to go in South London. From the iconic Electric Avenue to the Ritzy Cinema, there are loads of attractions, not to mention a huge choice of cafes and restaurants. The area still celebrates its Caribbean roots and there is music playing regularly across Brixton Market along with the intoxicating aromas of the street food, as well as the indoor village of Pop Brixton.
