How Do I Save Battery On My iPhone?
iPhones generally have a very good battery life, but if you're finding that your battery is going down quite quickly, we can suggest a couple of things to help! One thing you can check in the settings app is which apps are draining your battery the quickest, if you're not using them you can put them to sleep, which will help the battery. Another reason is your screen brightness, try changing it to auto or turning it down a little bit to save battery. How Do I Transfer Data Between iPhones?
So, if you've upgraded to a newer iPhone model, but want to make sure you keep all of your data, then you've come to the right place, as we can help you! There are a few ways to transfer your data, but one of the easiest and quickest ways to transfer data between your phones is by using a programme called Quick Start. First, turn on your new iPhone and place your older model next to it. A prompt to set up your new iPhone will appear, press unlock and continue. The Apple ID from your previous phone will be used, so tap continue if you want to set it up this way. A picture will appear on the new iPhone screen, hold this up to the camera on your old iPhone. You will see a message saying 'finish on new device' then enter your password for your old device on the new device and follow the rest of the set up instructions. Once you get to the 'transfer your data' screen, press transfer directly from iPhone and confirm that you want to transfer this data, and you're done!
What Is The 5 Click Trick?
You may have heard of the '5 click trick', but might be unaware of what it actually is, so we're here to tell you! The 5 click trick is a way of contacting emergency services from your smartphone without needing to unlock it or dial a number yourself. To activate this, you need to quickly press the side button of your iPhone 5 times. The emergency slider will then appear, if you slide it across, it will call the emergency services, if you did it by accident, then press the stop button and 'stop calling'. If you use a different phone to an iPhone, then you'll need to quickly press your power button 5 times to get the same response.
