Buchanan Street

Buchanan Street is Glasgow's main pedestrianised shopping street. The whole area is fully pedestrianised, except for the streets that cross it. It is part of the 'Golden Z', a set of three main shopping streets in the centre of Glasgow. The name comes from the alignment of the three streets, Buchanan Street, Argyle Street and Sauchiehall Street. The 'golden' part comes from the millions made each year by all of these streets!
