Trafalgar Square

Popping up in one of London's historic locations, this Christmas tree is a must visit for its beauty and meaning. The 65ft Norwegian spruce is an annual gift that Norway has been sending over every year since 1947 as a thank you for Britain's support during the Second World War. Norwegians call the tree 'The Queen of the Forest' and it's placed in the heart of Trafalgar Square decorated with vertical strings of light, in traditional Nordic style. The Christmas tree is up this year from December 2nd until just before the Twelfth Night of Christmas, when it is taken down for recycling.

Covent Garden

Covent Garden is easily among London's most popular destinations, especially during the festive season. The enchanting feeling of walking around the Piazza's cobbled streets can only be enhanced by a beautiful Christmas tree you'll have to go and see for yourself! There's also usually a Christmas shopping village filled with twinkling lights, of course.

St Pancras International

The Christmas tree at the famous London railway station is known for always presenting a unique design. Last year, the collaboration with ZSL London Zoo saw a quirky yet lovely Christmas tree popping up on a huge storybook. The book played different sounds of the zoo's animals!

Wembley Park

Wembley Park got festive for 2021 with their popular 25ft Christmas tree made up of 100,000 mesmerising LEDs. The tree was big enough for you to walk through it! We expect to see Wembley Park lit up again later this year!

Claridge's Hotel

If you're up for a more luxurious experience, then you must pay a visit to the Claridge's Hotel in popular London Mayfair. Their iconic Christmas trees are actual installations, designed each year by a different designer. For 2021, the hotel teamed up with Kim Jones, artistic director of Dior's men's collections, to present 'Celestial Snow Globe', a six-and-a-half-metre Christmas tree. The installation illuminated the hotel lobby with its twinkly sparkles, reflecting snowflakes and state-of-the-art holographic projections, while the tree's Christmas baubles reflected Dior's iconic motifs. Claridge's Hotel is also pretty close to some of London's best Christmas lights, so definitely worth adding it to your festive day out in the capital!
