First aid is a crucial skill for everyone, young or old, and many businesses require at least one staff member to act as emergency first aider or Appointed Person (AP) within their premises. During this day-long course in one of 38 locations, you'll learn primary care skills, as well as performing resuscitation and managing casualties with problems such as fractures, head injuries, choking and more. Dedicated instructors will ensure you feel at ease with the course content, plus you'll receive a certificate upon successful completion of the course (valid for three years from date of issue) after passing a short examination. Courses run Monday to Sunday between 9.30am and 3.30pm, with evening courses available on request. An absolute lifesaver!
