Selection List
- 3 x Calderona Crianza from Cigales
Hits the sweet spot. After a recommended 30-minute decanting (for oxygenation), this wine will begin to open and show the heady combination of fruit, soil, tannin, and oak. This serious wine from the Cigales region is generously medium-bodied with a ruby color and violet hues. It hints at complexity with the remarkable integration of the velvety tannins, yet remains approachable due to the distinguishable red fruit and balsamic notes.
- 3 x Muruve Roble from DO Toro
A clean and fresh aroma where the typical fruit aromas of this variety are merging with ageing hints of new wood. Ideal to pair with meat, charcuterie, Iberian ham and cheese.
- 3 x Monte Toro Roble from DO Toro
Presents an intense cherry red with mulberry, plum, and licorice along with dark forest berries in the nose. Spicy, toasty and vanilla undertones round out the palate.
- 3 x Lar de Paula Madurado from Rioja DO
Style is a 100% tempranillo wine that's spent four months in oak seeking and receiving roundness on the palate. The wine's cherry colour is always brilliant and clean from the cold, pre-fermentation soak. The primary aromas are full of fruits like blackberry and plum, but integrated with hints of new American, French, and Romanian oak and their caramel, cedar, and balsamic tertiary notes. Always fleshy, rich and mouth-feeling but with the structure and minerality to balance.
