Travelling from London Eurostar offer a connection into Ostend that changes at Brussels, getting you into the city in less than 5 hours. Ostend has quick links to several European motorways including the E40 motorway which stretches for 5,000 miles across a number of countries. It&rsquos less than half an hour drive to Bruges and within easy reach of Brussels, Ghent and Lille via the E403. Ostend-Bruges International Airport is set just outside Ostend city centre and offers flight to Birmingham, the Mediterranean, Canary Islands and more. It can be easily reached by train, bus and car. The De Lijn bus lines run through Ostend and offer excellent links throughout the city. Travelling by bus is an efficient and economical of getting across the city with the option to buy a ticket for a singe journey, 1 or 2 hours of travel or daily and weekly tickets. With a compact city centre and excellent public transport Ostend is easy to get around in.
