Bekonscot’s model village and railway is the oldest of its kind in the country and homes a colourful range of vehicles, shops and townsfolk while Odds Farm Park is home to loads of cute animals and has enough activities to keep the little ones occupied for hours. You can also walk the idyllic parks and gardens of Holtspur Bank or Pynesfield Lake, while the Beech House pub offers the perfect place to spend the evening in warm and comfortable surroundings after a day of exploring.

Beckenham has lots of things to see and do whether you’re stopping a day or for the weekend. Blackheath is almost a hidden treasure, with its rolling green landscapes and historic castles seldom seen in other areas around London. From Old MacDonald’s Farm & Fun Park to the Hopefield Animal Sanctuary, there are plenty of places to meet friendly animals while Weald and Thorndon Country Park are home to great trails to walk and incredible wildlife including wild deer. One described as “up and coming”, it’s fair to say Brixton has now established itself as one of the best places to go in South London. From the iconic Electric Avenue to the Ritzy Cinema, there are loads of attractions, not to mention a huge choice of cafes and restaurants.
