Plantain cups filled with onion, cabbage, pepper and cheese with a sweet tomato & chilli jam. Crab, Prawn and Avocado cocktail - Fresh crab meat, avocado and prawns served with a chilli-mango mayonnaise, pickled cucumber and gem lettuce. Guadeloupe Fish Soup - A signature dish of the small volcanic islands of Guadeloupe Shellfish, white fish and salmon are infused with a tasty broth flavoured with garlic, lime, pimento and scotch bonnet pepper. Coconut Chicken - Coconut flake coated chicken strips served with a tamarind, honey and ginger dipping sauce. Jerk BBQ taster - A selection of hot and spicy, sticky sweet chicken wings and baby ribs served with homemade coleslaw. Vegetable Pepper-pot Stew (V) - A favourite in the Caribbean home; our take on the classic ‘one pot supper’ is a vegetarian dish of sweet potato, squash, peppers and onion in a spicy piquant sauce. ‘Escovitch Fish’ - Pan-fried fillet of Coley topped with a hot and tangy pickled marinade of spiced pepper, vinegar and onion. Not for the milder palette! Mackerel Rundown £14.95 - Fillet of Mackerel on a bed of Caribbean vegetables cooked in a coconut milk, garlic and thyme sauce with a hint of fiery scotch bonnet pepper. Ackee and Saltfish - Jamaica’s celebrated national dish showcases the fruit of the ackee tree which is seasoned and cooked with saltfish, peppers, tomato and thyme. Curry Mutton - Originating in Indo-Jamaican cuisine, this mildly spiced curry of tender mutton, topped with a fried dumpling is incredibly popular and has definitely earned its ‘Classic Caribbean’ label. Peppered Sirloin Steak - Served with a rum and red wine sauce, home-made chips, an ackee stuffed tomato and jerk field mushroom.
