If you’ve always wanted to visit Italy and are struggling to pick a destination, why bother?! Grab today’s deal for the romantic trip of a lifetime…
We’re offering you a four-night trip to Venice, Florence and Pisa including flights and transfers from £149pp, or upgrade for a six-night trip from just £199pp, saving you up to 22% off*.
You’ll start your holiday in Venice with a two-night stay at the 4* Smart Hotel Holiday, relaxing in a standard twin or double room with a full en-suite bathroom. Each room is equipped with a hairdryer, safe, TV and Wi-Fi access as standard. The hotel is located a short distance from the city, so is an excellent base for exploring Venice’s maze of winding canals, ancient buildings and awe-inspiring cathedrals. There’s plenty to see, from well-known hotspots like St Mark’s Square, Rialto Bridge and the Guggenheim Museum, to hidden gems like the nearby island of Murano, famed for its beautiful glass and handmade lace creations. With a plethora of cosy bars, irresistible restaurants and boutiques to wander into, you’ll be spoilt for choice when it comes to entertainment!
From Venice, you’ll take the train to Florence. The journey takes around two hours and passes through some of Italy’s most beautiful countryside, from the outskirts of Venice to the mountains near Bologna. When you arrive in Florence, you’ll stay at the Diva Hotel in the San Donato zone, close to the city centre, in a twin or double standard room. Each room has an en-suite bathroom, air conditioning, TV and direct telephone. Renowned for its culinary finesse, breath-taking art and romantic ambience, Florence is the perfect city for a quick getaway. Simply strolling around the beautiful city and taking in the awe-inspiring architecture provides ample entertainment, with cultural hot-spots such as the Uffizi Gallery and the Pitti Palace well worth a visit. When the sun goes down, visit any one of the city's mouth-watering restaurants or chic bars for an evening filled with authentic food and wine.
The train from Florence to Pisa takes about an hour, and once again you’ll be able to sit back and watch some of the most stunning scenery in Europe pass you by. Upon arrival in the city, you’ll stay for one or two nights at the Grand Hotel Bonanno in an en-suite twin or double room with air conditioning, satellite TV and Wi-Fi access. The hotel is located in the city centre, so it's the perfect base for the final leg of your Italian adventure. Pisa is home to an abundance of well-maintained Romanesque buildings, Gothic churches and Renaissance piazzas. Piazza dei Miracoli is often hailed as one of the most beautiful urban spaces in the world, composed of immaculate walled lawns and home to a domed baptistery and marble cathedral. Of course, you simply must visit the architectural disaster of the 14th century - there really is nothing quite like the Leaning Tower of Pisa, a beautiful mistake! There is also a vibrant and affordable café and bar scene, as well as a buzzing street life, dominated by locals rather than tourists. What are you waiting for?
