Today we're offering you two nights in Krakow and two nights in Warsaw including return flights, train transfer and an optional Auschwitz tour (£25pp) from £129pp, saving you up to 55% off*.
For your next mini break, why see one city when you could see two? Both cities steeped in culture and rich in history, experience Krakow and Warsaw's turbulent past with today's deal, visiting whichever one you like first.
Staying at the Petrus Hotel, set amid the beautiful Twardowski Rocks Park adjacent to the city centre, your elegant en-suite room boasts all the usual amenities you’d expect, including Wi-Fi. From the Wawel Castle and Florian Gate (the only remaining part of the medieval city walls) to Pałac Biskupów Krakowskich (the former home of Pope John Paul II), Krakow's Old Town is a must-see for all visitors. For more on what you can look forward to seeing in the city, read our guide to Krakow.
As part of today's deal, you can opt to take a tour for £25pp to see for yourself the legacy of the atrocities that occurred at Auschwitz-Birkenau. Built by the Nazis during World War II, it has become a symbol of the inhumanity of Hitler's regime, and this year marks the 70th anniversary of its liberation in 1945. Led by an English-speaking guide, you'll head from Krakow by coach to the UNESCO-listed Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum. The sobering full-day tour will give you the chance to visit the Auschwitz Memorial Museum and commemorate the lives of those who died in the extermination camps during the Holocaust.
After Krakow, you’ll head to Warsaw, staying for two nights at the Hotel Reytan. Based in the Mokotów district, you’ll be conveniently located for exploring both the old and new town, stahing in an en-suite room with Wi-Fi, satellite TV and tea and coffee-making facilities. Sprawling Warsaw is home to the Royal Castle, a former Mazovian stronghold, and offers the evocative back streets of the Old Town and many good restaurants south of Al Jerozolimskie to explore.
