Q: What is Wowcher?
A: Wowcher features an unbeatable deal on the best stuff to do, see, eat, and buy in your city each day. By guaranteeing businesses a minimum number of customers, we get discounts you won't find anywhere else.
Q: What does "Tipping Point" mean?
A: Wowcher is based on a concept known as collective buying power which is when a group of consumers come together and use their group size as leverage in exchange for discounts. Wowcher negotiates these discounts for you in advance and the "tipping point" is the minimum number of people in order to benefit from the discount. There's power in numbers.
Q: What happens if the Wowcher doesn't reach its required minimum number of purchasers?
A: If not enough people sign up and the "Tipping Point" is not reached, then the deal is cancelled and you won't be charged. So if you really want a particular Wowcher, tell your friends.
Q: Do I have to sign up a group of people I know to get the deal?
A: Nope - You'll probably want to invite people anyway, though - Wowchers are always fun to use with friends or a great way to make new ones.
Q: I like today's deal - how do I get it?
A: Just click "BUY" before the deal ends and before we sell out! As soon as the minimum number of people do the same (i.e. the "Tipping Point" is reached) you will all qualify for the deal. Once the deal has closed, if we accept your order we will e-mail you a printable Wowcher that you can use for the deal in question (check the valid from and valid until dates). If the 'Tipping Point' is not reached, nobody gets the deal and nobody is charged.
Q: When can I use my Wowcher?
A: All Wowchers have an expiry date (also known as a "until/to" date). The participating business may have other restrictions which will be set out both in the Small Print before you buy a deal and on the Wowcher itself. Often it is necessary to make a reservation with the participating business to use your Wowcher.
Q: I've ordered a Wowcher, what happens now?
A: You need to wait until the deal has closed. After this time, as long as the "Tipping Point" was reached, and we accept your order, you will be sent an email with redemption instructions and your printable Wowcher(s).
Q: Can I buy a Wowcher as a gift for someone else?
A: Yes. Unless the Small Print specifically states otherwise, gift away.
Q: If I don't use the full value of the Wowcher in one visit, can I use the remainder later?
A: No. Unless otherwise stated you will not receive a credit or cash back for whatever you don't use.
Q: Can I combine my Wowcher with other offers or specials?
A: No, not unless the Wowcher specifically states otherwise.
Q: When am I billed for my Wowcher?
A: You are only charged if the Wowcher reaches the required minimum number of sales (the "tipping point"). Once the "tipping point" is reached your card is charged. If you order before the "tipping point" is reached, the amount will be "pre-authorised". This means that the amount will be "reserved" on your card until the deal reaches its tipping point. If this doesn't happen by the time the deal closes, the reservation will be lifted from your card and no charge will be made. You will be emailed the Wowcher once the deal closes if we accept your order.
Q: How safe is the Wowcher purchase process?
A: At no time is your credit card information stored on our servers. We use a third party payment processor to handle all payment processes securely and efficiently.
Q: Can I return a Wowcher?
A: Within the limits of reason, we'll do what it takes to make you happy. You may ask for a refund from us within 7 days of receiving your Wowcher (provided that the Wowcher has not been redeemed). Between 7 days and 30 days after receiving your Wowcher (provided that the Wowcher has not been redeemed) we will credit your Wowcher Wallet account as set out in our Wowcher Promise. However, after this time, we are generally unable to offer refunds.

Q: What if the business for my Wowcher closes down?
A: If the business closes down and your Wowcher has not expired, we'll refund your money.
