Day 1: Welcome to Cochin
Upon arrival in Cochin, your representative will meet you at the airport. You will be then transferred to
3* Millenium Continental Hotel or
4* Dream Cochin Hotel where you can relax for the night and recharge for the upcoming adventure.
Day 2: Dutch Palace and Fort Kochi
After a delicious breakfast at the hotel, you'll visit the Dutch Palace at Mattancherry, presented to the Raja in 1555 and famed for its Ramayana wall murals. You’ll also wander through Fort Kochi, an area steeped in Indo-European history and most well-known for its iconic cantilevered Chinese fishing nets. After lunch you’ll learn the secrets of South Indian cuisine with a cooking lesson before snooping around the shops. Later in the evening, you’ll be invited to a traditional Kathakali dance show, performed alongside ornate percussion and elaborate costumes - Strictly has a lot to learn.
Day 3: Cochin to Munnar
On day three, you'll enjoy breakfast at the hotel before venturing to the famous hill station of Munnar. There’ll be plenty of photo opportunities en-route with a stop off at major viewpoints and the stunning Valara Falls. With low-riding clouds, unending expanses of green and unspoilt tea plantations, Munnar is one of the mist picturesque regions of the south. You’ll stay the night at

Day 4: Munnar Sightseeing
After a delicious breakfast, you will proceed for a sightseeing tour of Munnar. In the morning you’ll see the impressive Mattuppetty Dam, Gundala Lake and Rajamalai National Park famed for its rare mountain goats. After lunch you’ll visit the famous tea factory and plantation where you’ll learn the art of making a proper black tea.
Day 5: Munnar to Thekaddy
After breakfast, you'll have the morning to enjoy at your leisure. After lunch, you’ll begin the journey to Periyar, a beautifully quiet wildlife park home to tigers, monkeys and more! You’ll stay the night at the
3* Periyar Meadows or
4* Cardamom County.
Day 6: Thekkady
After breakfast at the hotel, you will proceed to the local spice plantation where you can learn about spice cultivation and there’ll even the opportunity to buy some spicy souvenirs from local markets. In the afternoon you can take a walk on the wild side in Periyar Wildlife Park. Home to a beautiful old stone temple, wild elephants, stunning tigers and Savannah grasslands, this park is full of natural splendour and beauty, a must-see for all visitors of Kerala.
Day 7: Thekkadyto Kumarakom
After breakfast at the hotel, you will get to enjoy the morning in Thekkady. After lunch, you’ll travel to Kumarakom where you’ll stay at
3* Cocobay Resort or
4* Lakesong.
Day 8: Kumarakom
After breakfast, you'll get up close and personal with some feathered friends including cuckoos, owls, herons, parrots and more at the local bird sanctuary. You’ll get the evening to enjoy at your leisure so why not take advantage of the massage treatments offered at your hotel?
Day 9: Kumarakom to Alleppey
After breakfast at the hotel, you be driven to Alleppey where you’ll get face with the luscious backwaters of Kerala. View the pretty paddy field and rustic riverside villages from the luxurious confines of a houseboat. Stay with
