Day 2: Free day in Ollantaytambo Acclimatisation and exploring the beautiful village of Ollantaytambo. Day 3: Trek from Ollantaytambo to Choquechaca Visit the Pumamarka ruins then head on to the community of Choquechaca and the terraces of Muscapuquio. You'll also see the amazing Polylepis forests and the waterfall of Pacchavado. Days 4 & 5: Work on the 'High Andes Food for Change' community challenge Day 6: Trek from Choquechaca to Patacancha Valley Cross the Alancoma Pass to the Patacancha Valley and the Tastayoc Pass. Day 7: Trek from Patacancha Valley to Santa Teresa From Santa Maria to Santa Teresa then onto the Hotsprings of Cocalmayu for a well deserved recovering bath at sunset! Day 8: Coffee fields of Santa Teresa to Aguas Calientes Visit the ecological coffee fields before heading to the Hydroelectric Center and onto Aguas Calientes. Day 9: Machu Picchu See the hidden city of the Incas with a private guided tour to explore the most important spots before taking a train back to Cusco. Day 10: Free day in Cusco Day 11: Cusco - Lima - Home You will be picked up from your hotel in Cusco and taken to Cusco airport to fly back to Lima.
