Situated in the beautiful countryside of Northumberland, Northside Farm will offer you a unique experience to live amongst nature in one of their ten charming wigwams. Each sleeps up to five people (contact the merchant to add more guests to your party) and is named after an individual fruit tree that is planted outside - you are welcome to enjoy the fruit of that tree if in season throughout your stay! Every wigwam is wheelchair accessible and has lighting and heating built in, as well as a kitchen area with fridge, kettle and microwave, sleeping areas, outside water tap and a decking area, complete with a BBQ pit for alfresco dining at its finest. You’ll also have access to The Stable, the site's communal space with laundry facilities, four family sized bathrooms (each with toilet, heated showers, baby-changing facilities, baby baths and sinks) and a washing up area. When you want to go exploring, there’s plenty to see and do around Northside Farm. Northside is in an ideal place for spotting wildlife, particularly birds such as red kites, buzzards, curlews and skylarks - the site even keeps hens, and you are free to collect their eggs in the morning from the ‘Henwam’ for your breakfast! This is a great way to keep kids interested in animals and nature. There’s also a children’s play area on site for when they need to let off some steam. When you want to venture further afield, the site is a stone’s throw away from Hadrian’s Wall, as well as many Roman forts, such as the Corbridge Roman Fort, Vindolanda and Housesteads. You can also take a short trip to the Northumberland coastline, which boasts some of the most beautiful beaches in the country, with stunning sand dunes and breath-taking views.
