Full Details

If music really is the food of love, then today’s deal is a veritable feast for you; body, mind, heart and soul! We’re offering you a Band C ticket to see a performance of Memphis between Monday and Thursday for £25 or enjoy a Friday performance for just £29.50, saving you up to 38% off London Theatre Direct’s prices. Memphis is set in the USA in the turbulent south in the 1950s and tells the story of a white radio DJ whose love of good music transcends race lines and airwaves. The musical takes place in the smoky halls and underground clubs of the segregated '50s, where the young DJ falls in love with everything he shouldn’t: rock and roll and an electrifying black singer. This brilliant musical - called “a rousing spectacle” by the London Evening Standard, and praised for its “thrilling vocal work” by The Daily Telegraph - stars music sensation Beverley Knight* and XFactor winner Matt Cardle alongside a cast of overwhelmingly talented singers and dancers, telling a story that will genuinely make you laugh, cry, and get up and dance. *The producers of Memphis cannot guarantee the appearance of any particular artist, which is always subject to illness and holiday. Beverley Knight is NOT scheduled to appear on Monday evening performances and so the role of Felicia Farrell, will be played by Rachel John.
