Whether you’re a knowledgeable Londonite or new to the fair city, you’ll be sure to learn a thing or two on one of these fun and relaxed tours. With today’s deal, you can choose from the following bike rides:
- King Henry’s Palace River: Thursday, 10am - 4:30pm
An 18km ride along the Thames from Richmond to Hampton Court Palace, the home of King Henry VIII and his many wives. You’ll pass Ham House and finish with a ride around Bushy Park, the King's hunting ground with its resident deer, before enjoying your afternoon tea picnic.
- Royal Deer Park: Wednesday, 10am - 4:30pm
This 16km ride explores delightful Richmond with its famous historic buildings and Royal park. You can spot some deer, enjoy Turner’s famous view of the river Thames, visit Twickenham, the home of rugby, see exotic statue gardens and of course the famous Eel Pie Island before enjoying your afternoon tea picnic.
- Jester’s Ale Pub: Tuesday, 10am - 5pm
This 15km ride along the River Thames allows you to sample real ales in historic riverside pubs along the way. Ride the route of the famous Oxford and Cambridge boat race, sample some British ales with a “shots of ale” taster session then see the internationally recognised Kew Gardens, Kew Archives, Steam Museum and Musical Museum, finishing off with a picnic afternoon tea.
You’ll be accompanied by a tour guide for all three leisurely bike rides. Saturday and Sunday tours run by arrangement.
