The Isle of Wight awaits! You’ll start the day at 8am as your comfortable coach departs from South Kensington in London and makes its way to Southampton. From there, you’ll board a ferry and head to the enchanting Isle of Wight.
The first stop is Osborne House where you take in some culture and Victorian grandeur at this stunning house, once the former home of Queen Victoria. You’ll have free time to explore the house’s opulent rooms, its formal gardens, the Queen’s private beach and the Royal children’s Swiss Cottage. There is so much to see here you can easily fill a day!
If Osborne House doesn’t appeal to you, how about heading to Shanklin where you can enjoy a leisurely stroll at the lovely long stretch of beach, or perhaps visit the wonderful cafes, arcades and shops nearby. You can even visit peaceful Shanklin Chine, the Isle’s oldest attraction, and wonder up to the pretty thatched cottages of Shanklin’s old village.
When you've had your fill of wonderful vistas and impressive landmarks, the coach will collect passengers at Shanklin, then Osborne House before heading back to the ferry port to make your way back to London, arriving back in South Kensington at 8.30pm. The perfect daytrip!
