On 18th July you are cordially invited to spend a magical evening in the grounds of the breathtaking Glamis Castle, home to the Earl and Countess of Strathmore, listening to beautiful music and soaking up the unique atmosphere of the famous Glamis Proms. This year performances will be by musical theatre star Elaine Paige, accompanied by the world-class Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra, with special guest appearances from classical darling Susan Boyle, and local West End singer Norman Bowman. The site will open at 5pm (with carpark access from 4pm), so you’ll have plenty of time to explore the grounds, take advantage of the 10% discount in the castle shop, and pick up your souvenir programme, as well as settling in for a picnic or taking advantage of the numerous food and drink stalls, before the music starts at 7.30pm. Plus, the show will end with a bang at approximately 10pm with a spectacular fireworks finale!
