If you’ve tried many obstacle courses in the past but never found anything that pushed you to breaking point, this may just be it! This ultra-extreme course takes place in Weston Park in Birmingham and is designed to push you to your limits, testing your courage, determination and your stiff upper lip. The course is designed by the British Royal Marine Commandos, and as such, you should expect punishing, military style obstacles that are not for the fainthearted! Much harder than a standard mud run, you’ll slog through 10km of mud, water and hills as you’re put through your paces trying to overcome more than 30 hardcore obstacles! A structured program of all round strength and fitness training before you start is highly recommended, unless you want to end up running more like the winded than the wind! Like a military operation, there’s a real emphasis on teamwork and you’ll be encouraged to help each other - as they say in the military, never leave a soldier behind! After you achieve what you once thought was impossible, you’ll receive a t-shirt, a head-over, photos and goodies to take home. There’ll also be a much-needed bar on site, for your well-deserved after-race pint, as well as catering facilities for some very necessary refreshment! There’s parking available on site (£5 per car) and your friends will be able to come and watch you take part in the event for free.
